beep posInteger

The beep command sounds the Macintosh system beep.

If you specify a posInteger, your Macintosh beeps that many times.

  beep 2
  answer "Beep! Beep!"

posInteger
An expression that evaluates to a positive integer.

For example:

the number of bg fields
the number of backgrounds
